Egg Carton Flowers

Here's another idea for those leftover egg cartons: turn them into some pretty spring flowers!

What you'll need:
Egg carton
Scissors
Glue
Pipe cleaners (green)
Start by removing the lid and the flap of your egg carton. Then cut it into three separate sections, 2X2. Then pass it off to your kid to paint.

Allow them to dry then trim them up a bit and cut off about an inch off that piece that sticks up in the middle.

Run one pipe cleaner from the back of the flower, through the middle hole, and bend it tightly to secure in place.

Twist another pipe cleaner into a circle, then bend in the middle and twist it on to the "stem" for leaves.

Then put some glue around the middle hole to glue on the pom pom.

And now you have some sunny little flowers! Enjoy!
